NBA - The 10-man rotation, starring the time Deron Williams ‘almost hung up on’ Nets GM Billy King

"Shut the front door." "No, seriously. Honest to blog." (Nathaniel S. Butler/NBAE/Getty)

A look around the league and the Web that covers it. It's also important to note that the rotation order and starting nods aren't always listed in order of importance. That's for you, dear reader, to figure out.
C: The Brooklyn Game. "That's what I said. I was like, 'Shut up.' I almost hung up on him."
PF: 8 Points, 9 Seconds. With All-Star swingman Paul George reportedly nearing a five-year maximum contract extension to stay with the Indiana Pacers, Tim Donahue looks at how the two-way star's max payday may affect the Pacers' salary-cap sheet and personnel decision-making moving forward: "Looking at this information makes me believe that it is almost certain that this is the last season for Danny Granger in a Pacer uniform."
SF: Sacramento Bee. So how much does Shaquille O'Neal's addition to the ownership group in charge of the Sacramento Kings impact the organization's efforts to secure support for a new downtown arena? That, it seems, depends on who you ask.

SG: SB Nation. After a summer of qualifying action wrapped up with Tony Parker leading France to the EuroBasket crown, four slots for next summer's FIBA Basketball World Cup remain open, and Tom Ziller would like to figure out which teams will occupy them. (He'd also like Canada to be one of them, because Andrew Wiggins, that's why.)
PG: TrueHoop. Steve Kerr tells James Hebert about what it was like to punch Michael Jordan at a Chicago Bulls practice: "I don’t know what the hell I was thinking."
6th: Liberty Ballers. Michael Levin on the Philadelphia 76ers' recently confirmed determination not to push injured lottery pick Nerlens Noel back too soon: "Let's be real — we in Tankadelphia are in no rush."
7th: Silver Screen and Roll. C.A. Clark on the ongoing he-said-she-said between Los Angeles Lakers scions Jim and Jeanie Buss, who keep stumbling in trying to follow in the footsteps of their late father, Dr. Jerry Buss: "[...] right now, the quality that stands out the most in contrast to his children is that he knew when to shut up."
8th: KnicksNow.com. Charlie Widdoes breaks down why two-point-guard lineups were so successful for the New York Knicks last season and what that might mean for the trio of Raymond Felton, Pablo Prigioni and Beno Udrih this season. (Unless, of course, coach Mike Woodson decides he'd rather go big after an offseason that included the additions of Andrea Bargnani and Metta World Peace.)
9th: Rockets.com. Chandler Parsons talks about giving romantic advice, not knowing what "telepathy" means, the ways in which Omer Asik is like Walter White, and — oh yeah — the Houston Rockets' chances of making serious postseason noise this year.
10th: Eye on Basketball. Matt Moore did some digging to try to figure out which NBA players did the most gunning in garbage time of their teams' games. You will be shocked — SHOCKED! — to learn that J.R. Smith is prominently involved.
